ANNIVERSARY PATRON THANK YOUS

Your continued support has always been the reason I’ve been able to continue making this comic. And I am especially grateful to our readers who continue to support this comic month-after-month during this time. Thank you for letting me continue to create these pages. Thank you for being the real superheroes of this comic.

And so, I hope everyone will please join me in wishing a very special Woolfpack anniversary “thank you!” to those Patrons who have been supporting our work for a year or more!”

First let me thank a pack member who has been supporting our work for the last 24 months as of this week (June 7-13):

Luke D.

(You totally rock, Luke!)

I’d like to send out a big thank you to members of the Woolfpack who have been supporting our work for 36 months of this week (June 7-13):

(Three years of support! Thank you so much, Daniel, Beldro, Dave, Nate and Spencer!)

And a heroic thank you as well as for a Woolfpack member who has been supporting our work for 48 months of this week (June 7-13):

W. Michael M.

(Four years of support! Thank you so much, W. Michael!)

And let me also send out my biggest howl to those members of the Woolfpack who have been supporting this comic and our work from the very beginning!

These are the awesome readers who have been supporting me and this comic for 60 months (5 years!) as of this week (June 7-13):

Kagenokami, William L. and Alessandro R.

Thank you so much, Kagenokami, William and Alessandro! Y’all are so awesome!

Thank you all so much for your amazing, ongoing support! It’s the consistent support that is what really allows me to continue making this comic. You all truly are superheroes!

So!

So! Amanda is fully onboard, and now so is Flyboy! There really is a young girl in danger, and they are going to try to save her! But what did Spooky just find out? And are they really not going to like it?

Tune in this Saturday to find out! Hope to see you there! 😀

  1. Avatar for Nate Nate says:

    Possibilities. Ambrosia is actually:

    Dead
    A stripper in Reno
An old retiree in Boca Raton
A fruit salad with marshmallows & sour cream
An alcoholic beverage in a classic sci-fi franchise

Which suggests that we may be looking at a different blonde. A platinum one.

  2. We have a winner!

(Of course, your other, platinum theory is intriguing…)

  3. Avatar for Nate Nate says:

I actually had it last week.

  4. Isn’t “ambrosia” a form of a word for food or drink of the “gods?” Lol. “A stripper in Reno”!!! I love you Nate, made me laugh. Thanks for that.

  5. Avatar for Nate Nate says:

Thanks. I have a strange sense of humor at times.

And yes, it was the food served on Mount Olympus in Greek mythology. Please note that “Sircea” is not THAT far from “Circe”, who also hails from the region.

(The beverage was “nectar”, served by the cupbearers Hebe & Ganymede)

  6. Avatar for Klaus Klaus says:

Alex has confirmed that she is Kirke from Greek myth. Her origin card gives her real name as Kirca.

  7. Avatar for Nate Nate says:

    I’d missed that. Cool.

  8. Hm. I can think of five places where I would not like to find Ambrosia: the morgue, the hospital, the church they just came from, the refrigerator, and Spooky’s bed. With any luck, all my guesses will be incorrect.

  9. Avatar for Klaus Klaus says:

The morgue was my first thought.

  10. that’s a plot ender. The story needs a character to hook to the rest of the story. Now Ambrosia could have been Sircea in disguise (way to obvious for good storytelling)… Ambrosia might also have been duped into helping, or she might be a fun-fledged conspirator.

  11. Hooray, all my guesses were incorrect!

  12. Your guesses may have been incorrect, but I agree with not wanting to find Ambrosia in any of those places.

Interesting. Yes, I suppose it is useful to keep her alive. We did spend a fair amount of time setting her up in Chapter 2. Be a shame to not take advantage of that.
