So! Cory is being charged by a huge monster who laughs off boulders thrown at it—and his back is to a cliff! Umm, how well do you think he can swim?

Tune in this Wednesday to find out! Hope to see you there! 😀

  1. uhhhhhhhhhhh,. Cliffhanger much? Sorry, had to! Really, once you clobber them with a multi-ton boulder, shouldn’t they, I dunno, fall down?

  2. I don’t like where this is going ;__; also I can’t decide whether those dinos are to be taken seriously or whether they’Re almost too obvious some kind of illusion? I mean… even if they COULD laugh like that… would they actually do that… it’s too humanoid for me x’D

  3. Looks like these monsters are a bit tougher than your ordinary dinosaur. And more dangerous.

I can assure you that these monsters are no illusion. They are quite real. And lethal.

  4. Avatar for dswxyz dswxyz says:

hmmmm. It should, in theory, be possible for Cory to use his telekinesis to fly or feather fall, even if only for short distances and even if only briefly and clumsily… and it’s not unheard of for a superhero to learn a new way to use their powers until duress,… but… that would be taking Cory away from our favourite new shepherd, and no way do I believe that Cory’s stone-skipping himself to safety at the expense of leaving the shepherd boy out of the rest of this story.

So I think something else is going to happen. But for the life of me, I can’t think of what. Maybe it’s as straightforward as Cory does fall off the cliff, so pastor azul risks his own life and flies out to save him? Um, the shepherd has wings so he can fly, right? Maybe?

Also, we’ve been saying “shepherd”, but shepherd of what? Have we seen any sheep or goats or any other creatures besides the dinosaurs and those weird plant-things?

  5. …mama mia let me go :notes: but preferably not over the side of a cliff

  6. Cory will talk about this later in the arc. But right now, he is certain that flying is not an option.

    Maybe we’ll find out.

We saw one sheep, briefly, on page 3, panels 1 and 2.

    Ha!
