So!

So! Mitch was honest with Amanda, if a bit vague. But she’s still reaching for her phone to call the po-po! Why is she so eager to inform ExSec about Mitch? What will ExSec do to him? And what did the Machine tell her about Flyboy’s condition?

Tune in this Saturday to find out! Hope to see you there!😀

  1. Klaus says:

Is time travel inherently harmful for everybody? Or maybe only to some people?

  2. Now, that is my thought exactly. He is being rejected by the time stream in some fashion since he already exists there as a 12 year old?

  3. Nate says:

Seems likely. Maybe the space-time continuum is actively rejecting paradox.

If so, it’s possible that I was wrong, and Spooky won’t later erase everyone’s memories… reality will do it for him (much like how past incarnations of the Doctor never remember meeting their future selves.)

  4. I’d forgotten the first flare up. It happened here: Doublecross Ch 2 Page 7, just after Spooky’s verbal sparring with Overwhelming Force and her teammates.

Not sure what else to say here. Mitch just said he trusts Amanda, and if Amanda says fly into ExSec’s clutches, maybe he should, y’know, do that? But I don’t really see the story going there after we’ve been told, more than once in Doublecross, that Mitch and Spooky tend not to do everything that adults say.

  5. then what is iiiittttt
i mean there’s a high chance that Mitch’s arm troubles are somethingsomething wibblywobbly timey-wimey stuff, but I seem to recall it flaring up once or twice before now
now then more squeeing over Amanda

  6. Good question, Klaus.

    And an interesting theory, William.

    More interesting speculation, Nate.

Do you think Mitch would be safer with ExSec, David?

What are you liking most about seeing teen Amanda, Julia?

  7. Honestly, I love Amanda so much that I’m just kinda flipping out over the chance to catch a glimpse of backstory!! And her interactions with youngerSpooky make me smile too
