A whole comic! Now that has some possibilities… 😉

Speaking of comics, I just got back from the Stumptown Comics Fest and I’m going to recommend a really good one to you—The Legend of Bold Riley by Leia Weathington. I posted up a mini-review over on my Tumblr account, but the short answer is that if you like what I’m trying to do with my comics, you should get this book. It’s a fun, gripping, well-illustrated, fantasy-action graphic novel with a real three-dimensional heroine who just happens to like girls. I’m serious, you need to go check this out now.

In other news, a bunch of folks have been asking me when the first The Young Protectors book is going to come out and this month I’ve been working on creating a Kickstarter project to do just that. It’s only going to run for a short time, so keep your eye out for it in the next couple weeks. I promise I’ll let you know here when it begins! 😀

Oh, and

***THIS IS A BONUS PAGE!***

The fourth bonus page in a row! And thanks to your amazingly generous donations, that means that in addition to our regular Saturday updates, there will be another bonus page on May 8th (page 11!) and yet another bonus page on Wednesday, May 15th (page 13)! Here we are posting a bonus page and there are two pages already in the bank! You all ROCK SO MUCH! 😀

Special thanks and big hugs go out to new friend of The Young Protectors allen w. and also to long-time friend Daniel N. for their super-generous $25 donations! (And this makes Daniel’s thirtieth (!!!) super-generous donation to this comic! OMG, Daniel, you are SUPER-INCREDIBLE!)

And ZOMG, superhero-strength hugs go out to new super-friend Sam K. for their amazingly generous $100 donation (which put us over the top for the May 15th bonus page!) Thank you so, so much Sam!

Thank you all so much for your generous support! Both with the donations and your kind words in the comments and email, it’s nice to know you’re enjoying this little scene of AlexHumor (and awesome Adam/Vero art!) 😉

So! Kyle kinda looks to me like a bandit in this fan comic. I wonder what kind of bandit he is? (I say, thief of hearts!) Will this new comic possibly provide any new fun for our young heroes?

Tune in this Saturday to find out! Hope to see you there!
