The whole reason I started making these comics was so folks like us could have comics just as good as what the straight boys have been getting. And then we get a page like this—and I honestly can’t think of anyone else doing anything better.

Fantastic artwork on this page. I don’t remember ever seeing a panel like this one. I’m also thankful that we get a brief look at Spooky’s leg injury. The skin seems intact, at least, but I imagine it’s a bit burnt.

At the very least, these guys will definitely feel it in the morning.
To be honest with you, I don’t think there is one. While writing the script I was looking for a comic book reference for what I had in mind. I just assumed there would be a Daredevil or Lucifer comic with something like this. But I found nothing—and my Google-fu is pretty good.
Adam just knew how to make this happen,. He’s just that good.
