So!
So! The Man needs Spooky alive! (And he seems to feel pretty strongly about it.) But why? What happened to him after he used his powers to throw the pews at his own minions? And where is Flyboy going to be able to go?
Tune in this Wednesday to find out! Hope to see you there!
Is that window as fragile as you would expect, I wonder.
“They just don’t make terrorists like they used to. COBcoughcoughcough”
-Old Snake
Maybe he’s just too old to go pew-pew?
It should be relief that he wants Spooky alive but in the long run it’s more concerning
Hopefully this gives Mitch a chance to get them out of there (and to a doc for Spooky’s leg and his own arm, even a normal doc might not be able to do much )
I wonder if it was a good idea to drop and leave the knife there though
They should be able to make it through the windows - but still, I know how thick stained glass can be. It’d likely hurt. Maybe that’s why they’re super?
Doubt it. Leaded glass. eek.
Nice. LMBO!
Comments like these are why I keep coming back. Folks here are fun.
That was also my first reaction, but I don’t think he had a choice. It seems that his right arm is entirely out of commision.
It just needs to be fragile enough.
Maybe…
Klaus is right. Mitch did not have much choice if he did not want to risk stabbing Spooky. His arm is completely out of commission.
Well, I finally guessed one thing more-or-less correctly: that Shades would attack the cultists himself for endangering Spooky, although I said ‘blast’ instead of ‘toss church pews at’. I don’t know why Shades is having a weak moment, but perhaps it’s related to why he needs Spooky. Maybe Shades has terminal cancer and some demon has offered him a cure if he delivers Spooky to him. Because if he just needs the life force of a magic user to drain, he’s already got all those cultists instead.
I do hope the window can be shattered and our boys can make their escape. We have to hope there isn’t some sort of ward around the church preventing such escapes, but it’s hard to know how extensively planned the ‘wizard trap’ was. And we also need to hope the boys won’t be cut up too badly by broken glass, but superheroes are often able to ignore such injuries entirely. I expect any small cuts and bruises they get from the window will be magicked away by Spooky at the earliest opportunity.
I’m going to make another prediction: we haven’t seen the last of that cannon and it will be re-assembled. It’s too unusual an item to be discarded as trash so soon.
Mr. Chekov would agree.
“Where are the mystical wessels?”
A very interesting theory.
Yes, he would.
