END OF CHAPTER 4.
Hi, everyone! Alex here. This chapter has been an incredible journey. (226 pages! Wow!) Thank you so much for coming along with me on it. Just one more chapter to go before Double Cross is finished!
But first, TYP co-creator and penciler Adam DeKraker has requested a break, so we will be switching gears and returning to Cory’s fantasy-romance story with Chapter 2 of Fallen. The Fallen comic features pencils by Gabriel Mayorga and continued awesome coloring from TYP co-creator Veronica Gandini!
As you know, the Patreon support has been tight for a while and has gone down a bit more since, so I’ll need to take the rest of the month off of postings to catch up on payments for my artists. And then Gabriel will need some time to get up to speed with creating new art, so right now we’re looking at a November 5th launch for Chapter 2 of Fallen. I know that’s a long break for us, so I’ll try to start posting earlier if I can. The best thing to do so you don’t miss the next update is to take advantage of one of my free subscription options. That way you’ll get an automatic update when the next comic page goes up.
If you’d like, you can also get caught up and re-read the first chapter of Fallen here. Cory’s story is much more romance-focused than the rest of TYP, and it’s only going to get more so in Chapter 2. I think y’all are going to love it!
And in the meantime, I’ll be posting weekly updates of Double Cross scene compilations with behind-the-scenes commentary for our Patrons. This is something other webcomic creators do where I publish a whole scene of comics pages in one post to make it much easier to read through, starting with Page 1, Chapter 1 of Double Cross.
I posted the latest one today, and the following one will go up next Tuesday, and I’ll keep that schedule until I start posting the new Fallen pages. I’ve just unlocked the first 5 scene-compilations. Now anyone, including non-Patrons, can read those posts for free. (You’ll find the scroll of comic pages under the Show More links of the posts.) The Patrons have really been enjoying them, so if you’re a Young Protectors fan, be sure to give the free scene compilations a look!
Anyway, that’s it for now. Stay tuned for more fun stories with our heroes, coming soon! And, if you get a chance, please comment below and let me know what you thought of Chapter 4!
Please note: These are work-in-progress colors. Vero should get me the final colors soon.
You can talk about this page at The Young Protectors Community here.

ANNIVERSARY PATRON THANK YOUS
Your continued support has always been the reason I’ve been able to continue making this comic. And I am especially grateful to our readers who continue to support this comic month-after-month during this time. Thank you for letting me continue to create these pages. Thank you for being the real superheroes of this comic.
And so, I hope everyone will please join me in wishing a very special Woolfpack anniversary “thank you!” to those Patrons who have been supporting our work for a year or more!

So!
So! It looks like the bad guys have won. (And it also looks like The Platinum Priestess is one of the bad guys, for sure!)
Is there any way for our heroes to turn this around and defeat the King of All Demons (and save Teen Spooky?!)
Well, we’re going to have to wait a little bit of time to find out while TYP co-creator and Double Cross penciler, Adam DeKraker, takes a much deserved break (after 226 pages!)
But never fear, as I said above, The Young Protectors continues with telekinetic newbie Cory’s romantic adventures on what looks like another planet. (With dinosaurs and cute blue-skinned boys, no less!) I’ve already posted the first full chapter of Fallen.
Curious to find out what happens next?
Stay tuned for the first page of Chapter 2 of Fallen, posting here in November! Hope to see you then! 😀
It’s probably a good thing Sircea didn’t say “suck him dry”. He IS still underage, after all.
Hope Paul and Mitch wake up soon! Not sure how else they can get out of this!
My only ideas on how Spooky gets out alive and well from this situation are rather farfetched, even for a comic book, such as a Sircea from the future shows up and starts battling her younger self, or Tsunami is a sleeper agent amongst the cultists, or this is the time and place when the aliens who built the nullifiers first arrive on Earth, or Cory leads a squadron of dinosaurs into this playing field, or the other kings and queens of Hell would like to interrupt (somehow). Like, you try to think of a way out of this.
