So!
So! Flyboy sees a way to fix everything! Or, at least, to get back to his own time, and maybe even to where Cory is at. But which “gal” is he talking about? What guy? And in what way would he be better than lie-flat seats on a private jet?
Tune in this Saturday to find out! Hope to see you there! 😀
Apparently, only a very few of the gifted ones have the same powers. It is possible that there’s only one person with a specific power in this world.
Thankfully Spooky could heal Mitch completely… right? That magical light from before won’t be back, right???
Sounds like a plan indeed though, I hope it’ll be as easy as Mitch makes it sound x’D
Bridal carry or piggy-back?
Hum. Bridal carry? Too damn tempting for Mitch! Unless Spooks mindwipes these events from himself? Oh as to future favorite panel vote? Page 9! Does that count? The whole damn page has some great characterizations on it. Fantastic facial work folks!
Spooky’s turn to feel Lois Lane.
Will they now have to get said gal to forget too?
Quite possible, in fact.
Hopefully. It looked like it really hurt!
Place your bets!
I agree. Getting to see the “acting” Adam gives to the characters is one of my biggest pleasures in receiving the first pass of pencils!
He could get into that.
A fair question.
You were closer than you thought.
princess carry princess carry!! hahaha~
that’s right, Past Spooks doesn’t know Mitch’s powers :DDD
Sounds like the plan is to find Kanya and somehow get the bone fragment from wherever she got it from? Except this is a few years ago and who knows what her situation is. She might not even be working with the mob yet. And even if she is, would she be able to guess who she might steal from? And from what safe or secret stash?
Like, say it was the old mobster who had the fragment in a safe in the basement of the Spano Hotel. Is it safe to assume he’s been sitting on this fragment for a few years before Kanya stole it? Maybe he doesn’t have it yet. Maybe the artifact hasn’t even broken yet.
Like, in Mitch’s situation, I’d go find Kanya too, but there’s so many ways for this trail of crumbs to disappear if the trail hasn’t even been made yet. I imagine Spooky and Mitch will have to correctly make a few wild guesses and deductions. They’ll have to be awfully lucky.
By the way, how’s Fluke doing in this time period? Or any time period, really. Thinking of you, Paul! Feel free to make an entrance at any time.
Re: Mitch taking Spooky flying and how… I suspect Commander has had everyone participate in two-person training exercises, partly to boost teamwork and partly so everyone gets at least some idea how their abilities can work together. Mitch has probably tried all of the obvious ways of picking up someone and flying with them and knows his teammates’ preferences.
However, for a long trip from Oregon to Bay City, I bet Mitch will suggest he rent a car, use his credit card to pay for it, and then fly themselves inside it. Hopefully, he’ll realize that using a credit card from the future is bad mojo, and they’ll “borrow” a wheel-less engine-less car from some nearby junkyard instead.
LMBO! What a great idea!
It will be his first time.
You bring up very valid concerns. But Flyboy will take any hope he can get right now.
We actually have a bit of canon about that. It would likely be close in time to the events related in his First Time Card at Placid Valley Camp.
Glad you feel that way, David. I’d like to see him soon too.
I like your thinking on this.
